Who we are

Bragline is a fitness and progress log — weight, workouts/runs, boards, and the wins you want to keep. Soft beta access may be limited-time and free while we learn what works.

The developer named on our store listings and this site is responsible for this policy.

What we collect

We collect information you give us and information created when you use Bragline.

Account

• Email address (to create and sign in to your account)
• Name or display name (if you provide one)
• Account identifiers (internal IDs we use to keep your data together)

Fitness and activity (not medical advice)

Bragline stores fitness and activity data you enter or generate in the product, for example:

• Weight entries and related history
• Workouts / runs and similar activity logs

This is health-related activity data for your own tracking. Bragline does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a medical device or clinical record.

Content you create

• Logs / “brags” and other text you post
• Boards / social features content and memberships tied to your account
• Photos you choose to upload (if that feature is available)

Support

• Support tickets and messages you send us (including category, e.g. Account), so we can help you

Technical and security data

• Basic server logs needed to run and secure the service (for example timestamps, IP addresses used for abuse prevention, error diagnostics)
• If we add analytics or crash reporting later, we will update this policy and describe those tools here

We do not ask for payment card numbers during soft beta while payments are deferred. If billing is added later, this policy will be updated.

How we use information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve Bragline (accounts, logs, boards, weight and workout features)
• Keep the service secure (abuse prevention, fraud, troubleshooting)
• Respond to support and data requests
• Send important account or security messages when needed

We do not sell your personal data.

How we share information

We share data only when needed to run Bragline:

• Service providers who process data for us (for example hosting, email/auth, storage), under our instructions
• When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
• If the business is involved in a merger or transfer, with notice where appropriate

We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

Fitness data — important note

Weight, workouts, and similar entries are treated as fitness / activity information. They are private to your account except where you choose to share content on boards or with others in the product. They are not medical advice.

Your choices

Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Bragline account and associated data:

• In the product: Settings → Delete account
• On the web (even if you no longer use the app): Delete your account

Deletion means we remove your account and associated data (see Retention). Freezing or disabling an account is not the same as deletion; we offer true deletion.

Request a copy of your data

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by opening a Support ticket and choosing the Account category (or emailing support with “data copy request”). We will respond within a reasonable time.

Access and updates

You can review and update much of your profile and content in the product. For help, contact Support.

Retention and deletion timing

• We keep your data while your account is active so Bragline works for you.
• After a valid account deletion request, we delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited information for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. If we retain anything under those exceptions, we keep only what is needed and only for as long as required.
• Backups may take a short additional period to fully expire after deletion.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit (HTTPS) and to limit access to systems that store your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to reduce risk.

Children

Bragline is intended for adults (generally 13+ or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Soft beta

During soft beta, features and data practices may change. When they do in a meaningful way, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy; if you do not, you can delete your account. See also our Terms of Service.

International users

If you use Bragline from outside the country where we operate our servers, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our providers run infrastructure.
