How to delete your account in the app or website

1. Sign in to Bragline.
2. Open Settings.
3. Go to Account.
4. Tap or click Delete account.
5. Re-enter your password when asked.
6. Type DELETE to confirm.
7. Choose Permanently delete my account.

You will be signed out right away. We then remove your account and associated personal data from our active systems. We aim to finish within 30 days and email you when deletion is complete (using the email on your account).

If you use Bragline inside a mobile wrapper or native app, the same path applies: Settings → Account → Delete account. You should not need to email us or call support to start deletion.

What we delete

When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify data tied to you, including for example:

• Your profile (name, username, bio, avatar)
• Posts, photos, captions, and comments you created
• Friends / follows and cheer (emoji reaction) activity tied to your account
• Workout logs and scores stored for your account
• Session and login credentials

Some limited records may be kept when the law requires it (for example fraud prevention, security, or tax). See our Privacy Policy for retention details.

Content you shared that appears in other people’s views (for example a comment on someone else’s post) may be removed or shown as removed / anonymized after deletion.

What deletion is not

• Logging out only ends your session.
• Turning off notifications does not delete your account.
• A temporary “deactivate” or hide profile option (if we offer one later) is not a substitute for permanent deletion. Bragline offers permanent account deletion as described on this page.

Soft beta and billing

During soft beta / soft unlock, Bragline may be free. Deleting your account does not create any payment obligation.

If you later have an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, deleting your Bragline account does not automatically cancel store billing. Cancel the subscription in your Apple or Google account settings before or after deleting, as those stores control billing.

Can’t sign in?

If you cannot access your account but still want it deleted:

1. Email [email protected] from the email address on the account.
2. Subject line: Account deletion request.
3. Include your username (if you remember it).

We will verify ownership and process deletion. We may ask for additional confirmation so someone else cannot delete your account. We do not require a phone call to complete deletion.

After you delete

• You will not be able to sign in with that account.
• Username and profile will no longer be available.
• Creating a new account later starts fresh; old data is not restored once purge is complete.

If you requested deletion by mistake and we still offer a short recovery window in-product, use the instructions in the confirmation email before the deadline. After purge completes, restoration is not available.
